Myths & the Motherlands at AWP26!

We are back with new poems for our Myth & the Motherlands reading at AWP! If you attended our reading for Mass Poetry (thank you!), you might still be interested in our AWP event, as we read new work and have a fifth poet joining us. The link will be active for one month after the conference.

Here’s a brief event description: In a time of hypernationalism and trade wars, we as women of the Chinese diaspora, offer our work as a form of resistance. Our reading touches on the impact of migration of cultural and linguistic legacy, the idea of homeland, reinterpretations of historical characters and myths, and multiplicities in identity and literary forms.

I am thrilled and honored to read again with Angela Siew, Diana Cao, Saba Keramati, and Nicole W. Lee!
